January: Accent Press are in the final stages of going live with Web Manger.

The site is composed of both the main site and a plays to perform sub site.

Hastings Office Closed.

Jan 2012 - Due to the continued economic downturn we have closed our Hastings office and consolidated all business to the London office. All business will be completed from our London office. Please update any address details you have.

On the positive side we now have a bigger London office with a nice meeting room and break out area.

Frances Lincoln select Title Manager.

Frances Lincoln have selected Stison to replace their Anko Title Management solution.

JP Medical select Title Manager.

JP Medical have selected Stison to provide their Title Management solution. We'll be generating multi format AI's, order sheets and distributing thier Onix and cover images for both the UK & US operations.

Glagoslav Publications Live

Glagoslav Publications went live with Web Manager in September 2011. The site is the first instance to make full use of our multi-lingual features.

Accent Press and Excite Books Live

Accent Press and Xcite Books went live with Title Manager in August. Royalties manager is expected to be in production in the fourth quarter of 2011.

We've moved to Brixton

We've moved our Victoria office to Brixton. Much as we loved our central london office and its easy proximity to everything, Brixton is a lot cheaper and still within easy reach of central london (and its 30% of the cost).

Formac Lorimer Books Live

Formac Lorimer Books went live with Web Manager in July. The instance is first install of web manager using our template engine to drive multiple sites and styles of the same admin interface. Sites: www.formac.ca, www.formaclorimerbooks.ca, www.lorimer.ca, www.holdthesalt.ca.

Rights Solutions

In June Rights Solutions wen't live on our leased title management Solution. Rights solutions is using our instance to automatically distribute title data on ebooks and audiobooks to online wholesalers and retailers around the world, providing a hassle-free income for publishers.

Bradt Travel Guides Live

Bradt Travel Guides wen't live on the 20th April 2011. Bradt selected Stison's Web Manager interface. They are also utilising the news, events, blog and RSS interfaces. Its a nice looking site.

Ebook Manager Launched

London, UK (April 2010) Stison are proud to announce the go live of Ebook Manager. Ebook manager will allow publishers to sell their digital content from their existing websites. Stison will also integrate Ebook manager with their Web Manager product from May meaning all stison web sites will have e-book capability built in. This continues Stison's strong investment in the publishing sector.

4th Nov 2009 Baylor University Press live! Baylor University Press are using Stison Title Manager to manage the maintenance of their title data and catalogue production. The web site is run from our Web Manager application.

One of our favourite clients because they sent us a nice hamper of goodies to eat at Christmas!

Changes to Title Manager for Digital and Audio files

Updates released to provide more simple modification of digital content - product form DG. At the same time Stison added capabilities for audio files to ensure the system is compliant with Neilsen requirements for audio file data.

Frankfurt Book Fair

Frankfurt Book Fair 2009 took place from 14 to 18 October. Stison exhibited on Stand B-983 in Hall 8. This was our biggest stand yet and most successful. See the book fair site here.

University of Exeter Press

8th Oct 2009 University of Exeter Press live! UEP is using our Web Manager system for their site.

Since the launch, the site has proved to be a huge success. The site now has the option to take orders for books directly through UEP, Amazon, or University of Chicago Press.

Book Expo America

Stison launched their Title Manager product and serviced Title Manager product via www.stisonbooks.com at Book Expo America in New York, 28 - 31 May 2009.

Reviews and ratings added to the core product

We've had a few requests for reviews to be added to the core product. We like to listen so here it is, reviews and ratings are now part of the core product! If you have a Stison Books account then reviews and ratings will automatically appear in your configuration admin. To enable it simply click on the checkboxes and the functionality will automatically appear. It doesn't cost you a penny!

Web Manager V2 released at the London Book Fair - April 2009

Web Manager v2.0 was released at the London Book Fair. V2 has a massively upgraded admin interface to allow users to enter book data directly into the system - rather than the other automated feed routes. This effectively means web publisher has a web based title manager under the hood. The additional extras come at no additional cost to the product. We also bundled one click AI's into the new release (also at no cost).

Onix Generator Added to Web Publisher Core

Web Publisher can now generate Onix. The addition of onix processing means that customers can generate onix direct from their websites admin interface. Onix is likely to get more important for Neilsen and Amazon Advantage as time moves forward. It is likely that a cost implication will be incurred for sites that do not have the capability of generating Onix in the near future. Time is money.

ILM Bookstore Live on 6th March 2009

ILM Bookstore is an online bookshop where you can search for and order a range of science and technology books from a variety of publishers. We specialise in high-level reference books on the laboratory and life science, the environment and water science, and energy and power. We also cover other areas so have a browse or use the search tools.

ILM Bookstore is an automated site with Onix feeds from Springer and Wiley populating the database based on a select sample set of subjects. ILM Publications own books are entered in the site using the book admin tools.

June 2008 - Peek Inside launched

Following intensive development from R&D Peek Inside is ready.

Peek Inside allows small publishers access to tools previously only available to larger retailers. Add Peek Inside to your existing website to allow customers a quick glimpse of the internal content.

This javascript utility will allow publishers to upload a book pdf or pages of a book pdf and have a Peek Inside icon show on books that have this utility available.
